Final Thoughts on Romans 3:24
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ, NKJV
Being justified by grace, we have peace with God, our holy and sovereign Creator. Our conscience accuses us no longer. God’s judgment now decides for sinners instead of against us. Our memory looks back on our past sins, with deep sorrow for the sin, but yet with no dread of any penalty to come; for Jesus has paid our debt to the last jot and tittle. God will never be so unjust as to demand double payment for one debt, thus no soul whose sins are paid for can ever be cast into the Lake of Fire.
My hope lives not because I am not a sinner, but because I am a sinner for whom Christ died . . . On the lion of justice the fair maid of hope rides like a queen.
Charles H. Spurgeon
