Final Thoughts on Mark 10:14
But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.”

In this verse we have a clear command to make a place for our children in the presence of Jesus, to make them a part of every aspect of the family of faith, to help them grow in the knowledge of the Lord and His claim on their lives and to learn from them as we share with them the holy scriptures.
Sadly many Christian parents are lax in their attitude toward the Lord and His church and are not aware of the negative long-range effects that this indifferent attitude is certain to have on their children. These parents are not hostile toward the church, they are just apathetic and inconsistent in their church attendance and service to Christ and His body, the church. They are comfortable with their worldly lifestyles and do not want to be bothered with spiritual responsibilities.
